On Tuesday, October 17, I debuted the Matt Bernson Special Project collection on the HSN network, presented by Lucky Magazine. And what a thrill it was. I was a little daunted by the prospect that my first time on national television would be two 45 minute segments aired LIVE. But, once down there the whole team at HSN made me feel so at home and took such great care of me that it was more like summer camp than work. They were so much fun, and the amount of people it took to get something like Lucky Shops executed with military precision was astounding. The other thing that made it amazing was the team from Lucky Magazine that brought their great style and straight-forward philosophy to the project. It was a huge success, the limited edition Matt Bernson Special Project sold out very quickly. It was an honor to be a part of the whirlwind event. I had so much fun with the other designers: Andrew Cotton of Linea Pelle and Mellisa Akey of Thread Social.
